Hello everyone, I am not sure if this is a right place to post, but here's my problem: After filling all forms, required to order samples, I proceed to check out. When I press "Order Now" button I get error: A generic error has occurred. System encountered an unexpected condition. Please contact your System Administrator. Also "Request entity too large" error happens. Any suggestions?

    Greetings,

    Sounds like this is in regards to the eStore? We will be sure to have someone look at this.

    The "Request Too Large" error also occurs frequently when doing a parametric search. Sometimes I just have to go to another vendor's website to find a usable device.

    Also, after pressing "Order Now" button, and getting error, this line " Justification for Shipping to this Country: " doesn't continue. EDIT: I also found that RedirectUrl is OrderProcessErrorView.

    Please send an email to ti_store@ti.com.  Include your myTI email address and the description of your problem.  An agent will then fix the issue after doing the proper research on your account.

    This error occurs when your browser's cache is full and tries to hand it all off to a web server.  Generally, your browser hangs on to all the past actions you have performed unless a web applicaiton requests that it be cleared.  When the browser's cache gets full, the next action you take will create the Request Entity Too Large error.  To resolve the issue for the current web task you are doing, simply exit and restart your browser and then go to the browser's Tools / Internet Options menu and delete all Temporary Internet Files.

    Terry;

    The problem is not how it occurs buy why it occurs. TI is the ONLY website to give the "Request Too Large" error message; no other manufacturer's selection guide on their website causes problems like this. Perhaps they have smarter programmers or a more customer-friendly attitude?

    Your solution of how to prevent the problem is almost laughable-- tell it to Greg Lowe.

    Yes, I've also tried different browsers, on different machines, with different OS. Actually "Request too large" error is not bothering me too much, as the fact that I cant try out PCM270x chips. Looks like I am gonna buy them from Farnell.

    rogerio;

    If you read my post you should be able to figure out what page I was referring to. Doesn't anyone at TI website support know what they are doing?

    Neil,

    Reading your tread, I was wondering if besides the eStore issue, you were having "Request Too Large" issues with other URLs.

    Thanks for clarifying.
