I very appreciate TI's technical document, I mean, It's structure, format and aspect.
what kind of edit software are you using, now?
I noticed that some kind of document is putting at web site, and offered modify functions, It's an open-source content-distribution system, isn't it?
Can you give me some advice on technical document 's writing tools, compare tools, and version control tools?
finally, Happy new year.
Happy New Year to you as well! Let me check with that team on getting you some answers on this thread.

We use several different methods to develop and distribute technical documentation. Primarily, we use an XML based content management system (CMS), with a client side XML editing tool. You can Google CMS or XML editor and find a variety of tools that may suit your needs. Most if not all content management systems provision for compare and version control capability. These tools are normally used to manage and create PDF content which is not editable.
In cases where we expect to get contributions or improvements from community members, or to provide supplemental information in addition to our formal technical documentation, we contribute articles to the embedded processors wiki. This may be where you observed an opportunity to edit/modify content. The embedded processors wiki is based on the open source MediaWiki platform and is open for editing or contribution by any community member. Just log in or create an account.
The Embedded Processors Wiki can be found at the following URL:

If you can send a URL of the example you are refering to, I will try to give you a more specific answer.
Thanks, and happy new year!
