Hi,
Please help me identify IC.
The IC is partialy carbonized so I can't read the full name writen in the first line. The logo on IC is from Texas Instruments.
First line: VN**** - the * are missing characters
Second line: 94M
Third line: A75Y
Socket: SO-8
I've managed to identify some pins: 5 - GND, 8 - V+; pins 6 and 7 are used to command an electric motor from surveilance camera and they are marked on the back of the DVR as D+ and D- .
IC is from one "No Name" DVR.
Thank You.
I have submitted the information that you gave to Failure analysis and Sustaining to see if they can track down what it is from the clues you have provided.

The device is: SN75HVD3082ED
Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
Best regards,

You are most welcome...the lingering question is: how did the device get so carbonized that it was unrecognizable? Good luck!
Idon't know. The device ( DVR ) is not mine. I am just the service guy. The owner asked me to repair it. Maybe electrostatic discharge from the aerial cable. This IC is controlling the actuator of a camera mounted outside.
I'll use SN65HVD3082ED instead.
Thank you very much.
