TPD5S116: TPD5S116 VIL issue

Hello,

My customer has question below;

TPD5S116 VIL requirement is -0.5V ~ 0.082*Vcca.(0.246V   @vcc=3v)
That means output voltage of RK3399 should be under 0.246V to input signal low for TPD5S116.

So strictly speaking, there is possibility for TPD5S116 to judge it high level if output voltage of RK3399 is over 0.246V.

Otherwise, RK3399 VOL spec. is ~0.375V.
That means there is possibility to be up to 0.375V for output voltage of RK3399.

Are there any other means to help solving problems?

    The VOL spec on the RK3399 does not specify the current draw during measurement. The compatibility of the parts will be highly dependent on this value.

    The TPD5S5116 will present a nominal load resistance of 5K ohms which at 3V represents a very light DC load to the RK3399 which can allow for the parts to be viable together, but I cannot guarantee that they will work together.

    I do know that the VIL spec of the TPD5S5116 is tight and can be difficult to meet and I do not know of any way to reduce this requirement within the system.

    We do not have any device with a higher VIL.
