Our customer try to use TPD2E2U06-Q1 for FPD-LINKIII.

But, the requirment impedance is 100ohm.

So, we confirm the impedance of TPD2E2U06-Q1.

Could you tell us the impedance characteristic of TPD2E2U06-Q1 ?

The TPD2E2U06-Q1 should not be factored in when doing the impedance for FPD-LINK.

However the device that I would use would be TPD6F002 device for FPD-LINK. However it is not automotive qualified.

Thank you for your reply.
Our customer will use between FPD-LinkIII signals.
This line is very fast (GHz order).
If they use TPD6F002-Q1, this device inserts the FPD-LinkIII lines (serial insert).
In this case, does TPD6F002-Q1 impact to FPD-LinkII signal quality?

Sugiyama-san,

If you are working with signals in the GHz range the TPD6F002-Q1 will not work. It has the EMI filter internal but does not go up to those speeds.

However, the TPD1E05U06-Q1 or the TPD4E05U06-Q1 would work great for the high speed signals depending on if you want 1 channel or 4 channels.

These discrete devices should not be factored in impedance for the FPD-LinkIII signal. You will still need to have the 100Ohm impedance.
