TPD12S520: Recommended circuit arrangements

The datasheet (SLVS640E) specifies that I(LV), the bias supply current, is typically 1mA and maximum of 2mA. It is also specified that the LV_SUPPLY value must be from 1V to 5.5V.

This appears to contradict the "Typical Application" circuit in Figure 6 as a 10kOhm resistor is in the power supply line. This would generate a 10V drop for a typical supply current of 1mA. Is there a mistake in the bias supply current value?

    I am not certain which but I know it is either,

    The ILV spec is for the entire bias supply.
    As shown in figure 6 the VLV bias will be applied to CEC_IN, DCLK_IN, DDAT_IN, HPD_IN and LV_SUPPLY. Which means the ILV will be split up between all of them

    Or it is a typo and it should be uA and the ILV should be ILV_SUPPLY.

    I will look into it and get you a definite answer next week.
