Hi Team,

I need help trying to figure out how to MUX 16 USB2.0 ports into a single port. It needs to be able to support USB SuperSpeed (480Mbps). Do we make a single part that will fit this requirement? If not, is there a way we can cascade smaller multiplexers to make it work? Thank you.

Hello James,

Please clarify the following, you say "...to support USB SuperSpeed (480Mbps)..."

But 480Mbps correspond to High Speed, so it is worth to clarify.

In both cases, the solution would be 2 tiers of hubs (4 downstream ports each) using five TUSB8040.

Dear Sir,

Currently I was given a task to develop USB 3.0 8:1 Multiplexer. Is that HD3SS6126 chips can be used to form 8:1 MUX ? Since the chips is design only for 2:1/1:2 mux but I taught of cascading it.
