Hi Pohua, we don't have any bridge devices that output MIPI DSI.
What is your application? Would you like to drive a panel that receives DSI? Your request is not a common one, since panels with LVDS receivers are very common and cheap. You might consider targeting a different panel.
Best regards,

Lection, we are looking for an HDMI to MIPI CSI solution - to interface an HDMI input to the Samsung 5SPV210 camera interface. We are interested in reviewing your solution see if it will fit our need. Could you please contact me, Jason Roberts at jason.roberts@megasoftengineering.com . We arelocated in BC Canada
Cheers
JR
Jason, which version of MIPI CSI do you need? There's CSI-1, CSI-2, CSI-3. Also, does your HDMI run at 1080p60 and 24-bit? Our DVI receivers support that.
We have a 2-chip solution to output CSI-1, using the TFP401A and SN65LVDS315.
And I believe we have a 3-chip solution to output CSI-2, using a new device that's not quite released yet. Let me know if you'd like more info.
Thanks,
RE
Further to our last post, our requirement is a very tiny as possible board. Secondly ideally the board should be able to accept 1080p as input and also the MIPI standard desired is CSI-2.
To throw a wrench into this whole discussion, the client is also interested in an IEEE to MIPI CSI-2 interface.
Any takers out there?
Cheers
JR
All systems desired or to be developed are being used in a Linux/Android environment. Drivers will need to be operational in the Android environment
Hullo Ross, could you please provide more details re both the2-chip and 3-chip solutions ? Are you aware of any of your partners and for that matter Ti haven done any actual implementation or deployment. If possible an off-the-shelf solution would be great (lol). Any app notes of dev kits available from you or any third party?
Cheers
JR
Jason, I'm not all that aware of the different solutions that implementers have put together. What more details would you like on the 2-chip solution?
IEEE1394 to CSI-2 might be difficult in a tiny board. What is your expected production volume for this device?
Thanks,
RE
Hullo Ross,
I am waiting for your feedback re the possible IEEE 1394 to MIPI interface. We believe that there are more than 10K potential users out there but we want to peg our budget at 10K. Is that number too low for the solution providers requirements or pre requisites?
Cheers
JR
Jason,
We have IEEE1394 devices that begin with part# TSB43E. I believe they can output MPEG-encoded video, so you'd need a way to decode that and feed it to a CSI-2 transmitter. If you're limited on space, an FPGA-type solution might be better than piecing together several devices.
Best regards,
RE
