TUSB2077A Application circuit

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB2077A, SN75240, TPS2044B

Hello,

I am considering using the TUSB2077A usb hub.

Before spending hours copying the typical application schematic found in the datasheet on my CAD software, I would like to know if TI provides typical application circuits schematics source files.

In my particular case I would need the "Self powered Hub, Individual-Port Power Management" configuration.

By the way, I have some questions about this component.

The datasheet recommends using SN75240 transient suppressors but these seem to be incompatible with high speed rates (due to high impedence). Can this : TPD4EUSB30DQAR be used as replacement ?

Can TPS2560DRCT be used as replacement for the TPS2041BD to allow more than 0,5A on a single port ?

I would like to implement a self-powered USB hub. This hub would be used with some 3G/4G dongle(s), and these can occasionnaly take much more than 0.5A (1-1.5A). Would it be possible to use adjustable output current power switch like TPS2560DRCT to allow several USB ports to draw more than 0.5A without generating overcurrent warnings ? Or would it be better to use components specific to the USB Charging spec 1.1 ?

Thanks very much for your inputs.

Best regards,
