TUSB3410 umpf3410.i51 for RS-485

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB3410

We would like to update our TUSB3410 drivers to work with Windows 8 operating systems.  We are using the chip in RS485 mode so we need the downloadable EEPROM file (umpf3410.i51).  The version that I have does not seem to work with the latest drivers and we do not have the software necessary to build/compile this file.

In the past, we were able to request this file from TI.  Where can I get this file?

If we decide to certify these drivers with our own VID/PID (as we have in the past), who do I contact for WHQL Reseller Rights?

Thanks

  • Hello Mark,

I uploaded the RS485 FW to the following FTP site,

                    ftp://pickup@ftppickup.ti.com/pub/share/phijulo

              Name: pickup

             Password: piurh!

If you require reseller right for the latest TUSB3410 driver (v6.7.2) please send me your MSF account name to my e-mail (robdiaz@ti.com )

                    Regards,

                    Roberto.

  • Thanks, but I am having trouble accessing that ftp site.   I tried it from work and from home in IE, Firefox, and FileZilla.  I get prompted for a password and then both IE and FireFox just hang waiting (until they timeout).  This is the response in FileZilla:

    Status: Connected
    Status: Retrieving directory listing...
    Command: PWD
Response: 257 "/" is the current directory
    Command: TYPE I
Response: 200 Type set to I
    Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (192,91,75,212,233,127).
    Command: MLSD
    Response: 550 /: Permission denied
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

I found a response where you posted what may be the same it back at the end of March earlier today, but it didn't work either.  Since it was a few weeks old, I assumed it had expired.  Any Ideas?
