XIO2001 and VPX

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: XIO2001

We are currently working on a prototype cPCI to VPX adapter.

The XIO2001 on our adapter is setup with a single ended 125 MHz clock and the REFCLK125_SEL has been pulled high, since no clock is provided by the backplane.

I am currently running Linux mint (Kernel XXX) and using the command lspci to see if the adapter can be seen.

Is it possible to see the XIO2001 if there is not board plugged into the PCI side?

Does the host board need to be setup in any particular way when using the single ended 125MHz clock mode?

I have measured our on-board clock and it is 125 MHz with a high voltage of 0,75V and a low of 0,23V, which falls within the XIO2001 specs.

I have also measured the PCI CLK being output by the XIO2001 and it is very noisy, with a frequency of about 3,4MHZ where it should be 33MHz. What might this indicate?
