TUSB3410I Cold Temperature Sensitivity Issue

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB3410

We have a product in development that uses a TUSB3410I and in a sample of 10 units 2 failed at -10C.  The other 8 worked to -30C.  When the TUSB3410s from a working unit and a failing unit were swapped the problem followed the TUSB3410 from the failing unit.

Any suggestions as to what could be the cause of this?  The only thing in the design that may be suspect is that the crystal that is used has a maximum ESR of 100 ohms.  The TUSB3410 doesn't specify the maximum allowable crystal ESR but an earlier post in this forum by what appears to be a T.I. employee  stated that "the highest ESR crystal that we typically use on our boards is 70 ohms."
