I am a noob in this field of CPCI computing and have a lot of unanswered questions...hope you all will be able to help me out?
I have been entrusted with the task of assembling 03 CPCI based machines for real time data acquisition and training purpose .
I am clueles about the architecture and need to know more about it like
1. The protocols used?
2. How many processors can i use?
3. Can i network these 3 machines...if yes then what all protocols can i use?
4. What all interfaces can be used?
5. What is the maximum data rate supported?
I am really a novice in this field and i apologise in advance for any silly questions i may ask or have asked.
