SNx5DP159 supporting eDP?

Hi Team, 

is there a way to support the eDP input with SNx5DP159? 

In general we are interested in a seamless conversion of eDP to HDMI or DVI, monitor identification via DDC/AUX channels are required. The idea is to create a fully automatic conversion w/o any management. 

Can we use the SNx5DP159 for this task if we have the eDP as an available I/F from the GPU?

    Hi Lev,

    DP158 is a level shifter, not protocol converter.
    So, DP159 works with DP++ not sure if it will work with eDP, you need to review GPU specs.
    DP159 could level shift eDP signals to TMDS DC coupled levels, but I don't know if your GPU will send HDMI/DVI data.
