Does TSB82AA2BPGE correct the self-ID issue when using the TSB82AA2PGE with aTSB41BA3D

The TSB82AA2 and TSB41BA3B chips work together but the TSB82AA2 has a self-id problem with TSB41BA3D. There is an errata that describes a workaround. There is a new version of OHCI chip (TSB82AA2BPGE). There is a difference in the temperature specification but no mention of correcting this self-id issue. Can anyone tell me whether the self-ID problem with TSB41BA3D and TSB82AA2 has been corrected if you use the TSB82AA2B?

That "new" chip was introduced in 2008. The SLLZ059 erratum was published in December 2009; if the "I" chip were not affected, it would have been mentioned.

Hello,
The Self-ID problem affects the TSB41BA3D not the LLC.
The TSB41BA3D requires the errata's workaround no matter with which version of the 82AA2 is being used with.

Thank you for your response. We are using the TSB41BA3D with TSB12LV01 without the errata workaround. This fact and the text of the errata that indicates that the OHCI chip "expects the Data On indication to precede the Self-ID, otherwise the data is ignored." prompted us to ask the question whether changes are to be expected in either chip. We are in the process of implementing and testing the workaround in our OHCI based product and consider this post answered.
