Hi Team,

The customer is curious on an issue where their HD3SS3412 has low impedance on pin 28 (B2-).

They're requesting a FA from TI, but I'd like to check if this could be a common spec on our device?

If not then I will be submitting a FA request through proper channels.

Pin 28 (B2-) shold behave the same as all the other differential pins, are the other differential pins working fine? What is the system level failure?

Hi Elias,

The other diff pins seem fine from an impedance standpoint.

System level failure was bad data/no data over a MIPI CSI bus during read attempts.
The mux is attached to a B2B that was seeing flex mate/unmate in an uncontrolled ESD environment so it is possible a catastrophic ESD event occurred.

Since a ESD event could have happen, they may want to move forward with an FA.

ESD damage is indeed probably, I don't know how to proceed with a FA request, please provide an email address and I can put you in contact with the correct people.
