Hello,

Our customer use the SN65DSI84 with LVDS common voltage as 0.9V.

It is mentioned 0x1B 5:4 register must be set to 01 on the datasheet.

Can the customer set the register 0x1B 5:4= 00 or 10 or 11?

If the customer do not set the register 0x1B 5:4= 01, what happen?

Hello Naoki,

LVDS_CM_ADJUST register is intended to provide a greater voltage accuracy. So by changing this field the common mode output voltage may vary from 1.2V to ~0.85V

Thank you for your reply.
Again, when the customer set the register as follows

0x19.6 = 1 (0.9V)
0x1B.5:4 = 11 (6%up)

which is the result 0.9V * 1.06 or 1.2V*1.06 ?

Hello Naoki,

Sorry for the delayed response.

I have confirmed, when 0x19.6 = 1 and 0x1B.5:4 = 11 the common mode voltage will be ~1V and when 0x19.6 = 0 and 0x1B.5:4 = 11 the common mode voltage will be ~1.3
