SN75DP130: some question about ADDR_EQ pin

Part Number: SN75DP130

Hello,

Our customer use the SN75DP130, have some questions.

Q1) Is there a pull-down or pull-up resistor in the ADDR_EQ pin?

Q2) How about the value of the input current at ADDR_EQ?

Q3) How about the threshold voltage of the VIH,VIM,VIL?

Q4) If the customer select the VIL level, is it possible to configure by the
connect  ADDR_EQ pin to GND directly?

Best Regards,

Naoki Aoyama

  • Hi Naoki,

I'm looking for the information to answer your questions; meanwhile, this is what I found.

The recommended pull-up/pull-down is 4.7k; to get Vim you have to place both resistors externally.

The datasheet has Vil and Vih for device control signals in section 7.3

    Regards

  • Hi Moises,

    Thank you for your reply.
I checked the section 7.3 on the DS.
    VIL=0.8V (max.) , VIH=1.9V (min.)
The voltage range of the VIM is from 0.8V to 1.9V , right? or more narrow?

I will wait for your research.

    Regards,
    Naoki Aoyama
  • Hi Naoki,

    This is what I found

Q1) There are no pull-down/pull-up resistor in the ADDR_EQ pin

Q2) We don't have a precise  parameter is it should be in the uA range

Q3) Vih and Vil are int eh datasheet, for Vim use Vcc/2

Q4) Vih can be tied directly to Vcc and Vil can be tied directly to GND, for Vim use same value resistors for pull-up/pull-down

The range for Vim, should be a little narrower, please set it to Vcc/2 with same value resistors for pull-up/pull-down

    Regards

  • Hi Moises,

    Thank you for your reply.
I will feedback the customer this information.

    Thanks,
