SN75DP159: Clock is not output from AUX_SRC

I have a similar issue described in Post "SN75DP159: Clock is not output from AUX_SRC".

Unfortunatey no solution is shown there.

I also use DP159 as DP retimer. We already built and delivered 50 boards with no problems. Now new batch of our boards was produced and some boards don't properly work.

No successful link training, no clock output of AUX_SRC.

DP159 on older (working) boards: TI 611 AXPH G4

DP159 on new (not working) boards: TI 691AFHL G4

Can you tell me the solution for mentione post or help with other hints?

Hello Andreas

Do you have differences between both boards? can you send a schematic of both boards? what kind of test are you doing?

Hello Francisco,

thanks for you reply. There are sme minor differences on teh board, but not in the DisplayPort Part. I can send you the schematics, can you tell me your direct E-mail address?

Tests: connect video source (nVidia graphics board), link training should be done and image shown on our monitor (I use DP159 as retiminer in front of FPGA with DP IP core). In case of erroneous board, link training doesn't succeed as expected.

I also see a temperature dependence: When I cool DP159 (with cooliong spray), link training succeeds in most cases. In "normal temperatures" (20°-25° ambient), no success.
