Information on the PC87364-ICK-VLA

I needed to know if the PC87364-ICK-VLA was brought over from National during the merger. My customer is currently using this device, but wanted to know what the difference is in this and the PC87364-ICG-VLA.

Do we know what product line this falls under or anyone that knows about this device?

  • Hi Joe,

This product does not appear as an available device supported by TI on our website, and the latest records I could find in our database is a datasheet from 2000. This device appears to no longer be supported.

Regarding your question, I am only able to find the following about the three characters before "VLA" on p. 12 of the datasheet: "Three-character identifier for National data and keyboard ROM and/or customer identification code."

    snos463b.pdf

From my interpretation, it implies that there may be revisions of the chip, and perhaps the last character is incremented with each revision of ROM. However, given the limited information we have available, I cannot confirm this.

Sorry we do not have more information, but hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Michael

  • I can not seem to find any thing about thing about this part in our system. But I can try to help answer your question.

The datasheet for the device says the following about the three letter identifier.
"xxx =Three-character identifier for National data and keyboard ROM and/or customer identification code."
so the difference between the ICG and ICK part might be the ROM in the part or the customer identification code.
