Expert 8760 points
Part Number: TIR1000

Hi team,

My customer wants to know the TIR1000 minimum RESET pulse width.
I could not find the value in the datasheet.

Please let me know.

Best regards,

  • Hey Fumio,

I've tried looking through our internal database to find information on this part however it is quite old and information on the reset parameter seems lost. Normally I would try to do bench testing to give an estimate on this however this device does not look like something I can do bench testing to check and see if it actually reset.

From looking at the datasheet, it mentions the device should be tied to the reset of the UART pin so they both reset at the same time. This atleast gives us a clue that this device should have a similar reset requirement to other UART devices. Looking at the tl16c752B/D's datasheet, the minimum time for reset is 200ns so TIR1000 will likely reset in the same time or less though u could use a multiple of x5 or x10 to be safe (1uS or 2uS) .

Sorry I wasn't able to get you a more precise answer but I hope this helps.
