Hi,

I have an application that requires an IrDA interface. I looked at TIR1000 as my encoder/decoder, but it requires UART interface to processor which will cost me extra pins. I already have I2C and SPI in my design and so want an IrDA encoder/decoder chip that interfaces to the host via one of these interfaces. Have searched around for such a chip but can't find one. Hoping someone can point me to one.
