ISO721 / 7240CF

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO721, ISO7240CF

Please describe what the output of the digital isolator (ISO721) does on power up with no edge transitions on the inputs for various combinations of power sequences and input states.

I've read slyt335.pdf.

Please also describe what the output of the digital isolator (ISO7240CF) does on power up with no edge transitions on the inputs for various combinations of power sequences and input states and En / DIS conditions.

What is the range of OSC frequencies?

  • Ronald,

I completed a quick search and found this older post on the ISO72x power up.  Is the answer the same pdf that was attached in that post?

  • Thank you Chinh Vu!

Are you saying the outputs start off HiZ until the output power supply hits a 2.5V threshold then always goes to an active high output that follows the supply rail regardless of the state of any of the inputs?

Does the output then transition to an input determined state (single transition to a logic low or a no glitch maintenance of  a logic 1) even if the inputs have not ever changed states? How long will it take?

What is the range of OSC frequencies?
