Hi,

Is SN74CBTLV3257 bidirectional? I 'm interfacing this with SPI and UART latched pins to seperate them, so that when select = 0, SPI is connected and when select = 1, UART is connected. Can it serve as bidirectional bus for MISO/MOSI pins at the same time.

Is SN74CBTLV3257 bidirectional ? I can not find any information in its data sheet., but SN74CBT3257C and SN74CB3Q3257 mentioned
"Bidirectional Data Flow, With Near-Zero Propagation Delay".

In SN74CBTLV3257 (SCDS040K) data sheet, there is a typo at page 9. It mentioned

"When S is high, xB1 is the active bus, and when S is low, xB2 is the active bus."

It is wrong !!!

Hi Jeff / Santhosh ,
All Muxes are bidirectional in nature . You can find the info in pin terminal functions mentioned as I/O. Once enabled , it will conduct A to B or B to A .
You are right in finding out the typo there . it needs corrected . Thanks for pointing out .

Why did the SN74CBTLV3257 data sheet NOT mention the bidirectional feature as similar as other chips clearly ?
