Hi,

I will develop USB-PD with TPS65982.

In this product folder, the EVM can be operate with MSP430 launchpad.

Is there available sample code?

The TPS65982-EVM is hardware-compatible with the LaunchPad ecosystem, but at this time we are not developing or supporting any code for the MSP430 or other LaunchPad microcontrollers.

We are developing and support short Python scripts that are run using the Aardvark I2C/SPI Host to communicate with the TPS65982 via I2C.

The motivation for supporting the Aardvark is the fact that we also use the Aardvark to update the Flash directly via SPI and the relative simplicity of writing Python scripts.

The link you have provided in you post is actually a Configuration Web Tool which allows you to create custom FW for the TPS65982 and create a valide .bin file which can be loaded onto the Flash IC and is loaded to the TPS65982 during Boot.

So, it is unavailable tool which upload in TPS65982 Configuration Tool filder.

Hello Martijn,

The .py scripts are available in a zip file, in the TPS65982 Host Interface Utility Tool folder. Also, in this folder is a user's guide that explains what scripts are available and how to use them.

Martjin,

You can find the scripts, also known as the TPS65982 Host Interface Utility, on the TPS65982-HIUTILITY product folder.

They come in a zipped folder which contains all of the support files to plug in an Aardvark and get started.

If you notice any scripts that lack the functionality you require, we look forward to hearing your feedback.
