SN74LVC4245 leakage

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC4245A, SN74LVC8T245

Hello

Our customer has the following issue when using the SN74LVC4245

" The board I’m currently working on has an LVC4245 Octal Bus Transceiver and 3.3V to 5V level shifter. If we lose the 5V supply, due to a blown fuse or whatever, our circuitry that detects a blown fuse does not function because there is leakage from the 3.3V supply through this part back onto the 5Vsupply traces. Because of this we see about 3.3V where the voltage should be 0 when the 5V supply is off or the 5V supply fuse is blown. Is there an easy fix to this or could you recommend another part?

"

Is this possible that there can be leakage from one VCC rail to another? If what the customer is claiming is true, then could you recommended another part (drop in preferred) that will work and does not have the leakage issue?

Thanks
