Hello,
I'm going to be implementing a system which uses 4 USB to SATA devices (connected by a USB HUB TUSB8041).
I intend to have this self-powered from an external 12V power supply, what I want to know is should I have multiple "little" power regulators for each USB to SATA component, as well as the USB Hub? Or a single set of "big" power regulators to power all components?
The regulators that I have my eye on are: TPS5450 (to convert 12v to 5v), TPS650061 (convert 5v to 1.1v, 1.8v, and 3.3v)
