Hello. I currently use the 74AUC2G66 for switching 1.8V signals. For BOM part variant reduction, I would like to continue using this part for some 3.3V signal switching I need to do. I see that the part has an absolute voltage range up to 3.6V. Is there any reason I should be concerned with running this part at an operational 3.3V instead of the "recommended" 2.7V?
Hi Ranger
You should not use Vcc at 3V on this part. Yuo can use the LVC2G66 instead. It will be a drop in replacement.
If you can power the AUC with 1.8V it can handle 3.3V inputs and be OK however the outputs would still be 1.8V.
