TCA9545A Vpass voltage

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA9545A

Hello,

My customer examines the TCA9545A.

He designed a set that the master device and all slave devices at the same voltage:3.3V .

According to the datasheet (P17), Vpass=Vdpux . So I think that  Vpass=3.3V.

But the Vpass specification is 1.9V @ Vcc=3.3V.

How about the Vpass voltage?

Regards

  • If all voltages are 3.3 V, then VCC = 3.3 V is acceptable.

To make the datasheet more clear, it should say Vpass < Vdpux, or more simply that VCC = VDPUX is acceptable since voltage translation is not occurring.

Thank you for addressing this confusing statement in the datasheet.
