PCA9543A Pullups on INT lines

Hi,

  I've inherited a circuit that uses the PCA9543A.  It does not make use of the nINT lines and also does NOT have pull-ups on any of the INT lines (nINT, nINT0, nINT1).  We are seeing very non-repeatable errors on our devices and I am wondering if it may be linked to the lack of pull-ups.

  I have added 6.8K pullups to each of the nINT lines to one of the units and it seems to have changed how often I see the errors (maybe confirmation bias?)  but unfortunately I still see them.

  My question is, if we are not using the nINT lines on the PCA9543A, should we still have pull-ups on each of these lines?  I couldn't see any reference to this situation in the datasheet.
