USB to GPIO Interface Adapter few general questions

I have a couple questions on the USB to GPIO interface adapter. I am using this adapter with the DLP Pico Projector Development Kit. I have removed the light engine so that I can only work with the digital micromirror inside (the DLP 1700). A speedy reply is highly appreciated as I will need to order this item as quickly as I can.

1)

Is the following:

• USB interface adapter in an enclosure • Standard type-A to type-mini-B (5-pin) USB cable • 10-pin ribbon cable with connectors on both ends

included in the USB to GPIO Interface Adapter EVM from Ti. I am referring to the one in http://www.ti.com/tool/usb-to-gpio.  for $49. (It is the same one used in this question forum http://e2e.ti.com/support/dlp__mems_micro-electro-mechanical_systems/f/94/p/66460/395382) I am going to copy the set up as in the way described in this forum  http://e2e.ti.com/support/dlp__mems_micro-electro-mechanical_systems/f/94/p/66460/395382 ; is this a successful way of doing it?

If these items are not included, please tell me where I can buy those items  and which one exactly is required for the USB to GPIO interface adapter EVM. An exact description such as the type of connector (female or male, etc) needed or the exact usb cable needed is what I need if these items are not included already. (If I can get  links to where I can buy individually those required items, I would greatly appreciate it!)

2)

Is this particular one from TI (USB to GPIO Interface Adapter EVM) lead free (in some places I see that it is not). Also, will it work with Microsoft Windows XP.

I have read the previous forums and the user manuals several times. Please respond to this question as I need to order it as soon as possible.

(If I may suggest: If you are confused still about which one I am talking about please still provide information on the items you think I am referring to; instead of asking which one I am referring to without giving me any information. One of the ones you might describe is probably the one I am referring to. It saves valuable time instead of having me reply a yes or a one sentence description of what I am referring to and then waiting three or more days for a reply.)

Thank you so much

This forum is not related to your question, and unfortunately I don't see any IC Part #'s in your question that I can search to help re-direct your post.
