Hi,

Could you please tell us the measuring method for the input/output capacitance although it is mentioned on page 18 of TCA9517 data sheet ?
Moreover, would you tell us the input/output capacitance for SCLA/SCLB and SDAA/SDAB when the EN pin is high/low ?

Kato-san,

I will have to check on how the actual capacitance measurements were taken. Typically, these measurements are taken at 1MHz at the pin in question. If you require a specific test setup, please let me know.

As for the values, there should be no significant change whether the EN pin is high or low

Kato-san,

The test setup was a frequency analyzer was placed on each pin beiing tested (marked on your icon as a probe point) and we measured the capacitance at 1 MHz with a 1Vrms signal.

Kato-san,

I do not have a way to verify exactly what instrument was used to test this specific device.

I can talk to testing and see what we are currently using to test these parameters, and this answer will most likely be the same as what was used since our testing equipment has not changed recently. Please allow me to speak with testing and see (I am currently out of the office on travel, so I am unable to go look, myself)

After speaking with our verification team, we use the HP4191 to test capacitance on our devices.
