LSF0102 / AC Performance

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LSF0102, LSF0101

Hi,

I have some questions about LSF0102 device.

Q1

Please let me know how to swich the output mode Push-Pull or Open Drain.

Q2

AC Performance described in data sheet is TPLH/TPHL TYP only.

What is TPLH/TPHL MAX?

In addition, what is the switching time(TYP,MAX) from EN pin toggled to A,B switched on?

Best Regards,

Kato

  • Hi,

LSF is based on current mirror circuits. Thus, the device will work correctly when input signal is the voltage which is in the normal input voltage range. As for push-pull or open-drain I/O, they are just the application electrical feature.

    Thanks

  • Wei - san,

    Thank you for the reply.

Please let me know what TPLH/TPHL MAX is.

In addition, what is the switching time from EN pin toggled to A /B output?

    Best Regards,

    Kato

  • Hi Kato,

For Tplh/Tphl, they are all depend on which way it is translating. When translating down it will be fast and is specd in the datasheet as typical like switches. When translating up it will depend on the pullup resistor an voltage being pulled to. You can use LSF0101 IBIS mode to run simulation with the applcation.

The time from EN toggled to output is about 5ns.

    Thanks

  • Hello,

I'm trying to use IBIS model for LSF0102 with Hyperlynx (Mentor Graphics) but the tool says that the IBIS model has errors and cannot be processed.

Did you suffer from this error? (please review the log)

  • Please post your question on 'Logic forum'. The engineer in logic forum will be more familiar with LSF0102.

    Thanks
