I am looking to use the TXB0102 voltage translator in an application where my control voltage for the OE signal is at the higher VCCB voltage level. According to the datasheet the OE input will accept voltages up to 5.5 V I would like to confirm two things that are unclear.
1. Will driving the output enable signal (OE) at VCCB=2.8V levels harm the device if VCCA=1.8V?
2. If the device can be driven this way will the ESD diode conduct drawing excessive input pin current?
Thanks
