UART Interface with separated ground references

Dear all,

I have to interface a microcontroller with a modem with different voltage levels, and separated ground (signal_ground and power_ground, by means of an inductor).

I have already selected the TXB0104 as interface, but what ground should I use to connect it?

The microcontroller is working at 3,3V while the modem to 1,8V.
