TXB0104 for Open Drain -> CMOS uni-direction

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXS0108E, SN74LVC8T245, TXB0104, SN74AVC4T774

I have the following requirement in my design

Note: OD drives 3.3V IOs also

I found 3 options for the same.

TXS0108E, TXB0104, sn74lvc8t245.

My voltage high/low req. is

3.3V:

VOH/L - 2.94V/0.4V

VIH/L - 2V/0.8V

1.8V:

VOH/L - 1.26V/0.45V

VIH/L - 1.2V/0.4V

TXS0108E does not seem to match the voltage requirements.

sn74lvc8t245 seems fine but uses dir pins and is an 8-bit translator.

I am thinking of using TXB0104 for the same.

However, in TXB0104 datasheet, it is mentioned that it is not recommended for open drain voltage translations (Bi-directional IOs).

1) Can I use TXB0104 for my design?

2) If it is possible, in our scenario, 3.3V pins are software configurable. On start-up, pins may act as I/Ps. Will this cause any issues?

3) If not, can you suggest some alternatives?
