Question about TXB0108

I am reading this datasheet for this part and I have a few questions:

1) Can this part drive a 1 mA load?

2) Can this part sink an 8 mA load? I would like to connect this part to an FPGA with an 8 mA output driver on the output pins.

3) Are the ports completely independent meaning that port A1 can level shift from 3.3V to 5V when port B2 level shifts from 5V to 3.3V?

Hi Frank,

I do not see that the drive of TXB0108 is greater than 20uA . According to the datasheet , the driver should have +-2mA output drive to interface with the TXB.
With Vcca < Vccb , it can be bidirectional level shifter for any range of Vcc -Vccb.
More explanations will be given from the Apps support from the team handling these devices .

Hi Frank

Our recommendation is SN74LVC16T245. If vcca: 3.3v, vccb:5v, A ports : 3.3v, B ports: 5V, it will work.
