Hi Rs232 team,

Do you have product which can accept RS-232 signal which is transmitted in cable longer than 15m? Our customer found there's one video recording system product from Panasonic which can accept RS-232 with a cable of 30m with normal RS-232 transmitter, while other video recording system product can't accept the RS232 with a cable of 30m. The baud rate is 9600. If we have such product, could you please tell me the part number? I can't find that in our product list.

Hello Viu,

Your customer could be using a discrete solution. For such lengths I would recommend using gd65232 with a +/-15V supply.

Hi ANdrew,

It is really a good idea if our customer need the RS232 cable driver which supports cable longer than 15m. But our customer need is the receiver with higher sensitivity. Could you please recommend any solution?
