DP83816 / MD1/CFGDISN pin

Hi Team,

My customer considers MD1/CFGDISN pin to be left unconnected.

Is it possible to be open?

Datasheet(page 9) shows that "MD[5:0] pins have internal weak pull ups", so I think it is possible.

however I'd like to confirm just in case.

You are correct. It is possible to leave the pin unconnected. Due to the internal weak pull up, the MD1/CFGDISN pin will initialize with the correct value if it is left unconnected.
