My customer asks us the following two questions.
Please let me know the answers.

① Does DP83867IR support IEEE 802.1AS(gPTP) SFD?

② Does DP83867IR detect SFD for every transmit and receive packets and
output a indication pulse via GPIO?

Hi F.N.,

IEEE802.1 standards are concerned with layers above the Physical Layer.
The DP83867 supports SFD indication for both transmit and receive packets on GPIOs.
This is discussed in the DS. Please look under section 8.3.2.
