DP83822I: DP83822I as a replacement for TLK105L

Hi,

We plan a design with indutrial Ethernet (EtherCAT or TI SORTE protocol) based on an AM57xx. I have studied the schematic of the AM571x Industrial Development Kit (EVM). To my surprise TI still designs the TLK105L into IDK boards. On the website TLK105L is not recommended for new designs and DP83822I is advertised instead. Does TI has a reference design for idustrial Ethernet (such as EtherCAT) with a Sitara SOC and a DP83822I? I'm aware of the "DP83822I Hardware Rollover" (snla262) document but a bullet-proof reference design would help to speed up the design phase.

An other question: How would a "PRU-ICSS-EtherCAT Slave" software be affected by a replacement of the TLK105L with a DP83822I?

Any further information to this topic and maybe any new schematics or even reference designs are highly appreciated.
