DS125DF1610: The leakage voltage from RX pins to VDD pins when device didn't power up

Part Number: DS125DF1610

Hi Team,

My customer feedback an issue of DS125DF1610.

When the device didn't power up,but there is input signal at RX pin(the dc was 1.2V),then they can see 450mV leakage voltage at VDD pins.

The schematic was shown as below.Could you help check is there any internal connection between RX pin and VDD pin which will be a voltage path when device not power up and is there any risk for device in such condition?

Best Regards,

Nick Dai

  • Hi Nick. Providing input signal to high-speed pins with no VDD to device is not a valid configuration. I would speculate there is some ESD protection circuit path that may be becoming biased in this non-standard configuration.
