Solar Magic SM4555-C Internet Gateway

Sorry in advance, i didn't know where to post this question.

I have an older SM4555-C Internet Gateway (Solar Magic, formally owned by National SemiConductor) I was told TI bought that division in 2011.

I'm trying to find any information regarding MELTDOWN/SPECTRE Hardware CPU flaws and possible patching for this device. Any help would be great.

Hello Shane,

Hardware CPU questions are out of scope for this forum. This looks like a older system, do you know the processor part number used in the system? I would recommend posting in the processor forum to check if there is any information available there.

Hello Shane,

SolarMagic Gateways does not seem to have been part of the National acquisition, only the SolarMagic photovoltaic ICs. Seems the SM455-C Internet Gateway is produced by ABB Aurora: www.solaris-shop.com/compare/573/574/2737/2738 .
