Part Number: TPD6S300
We use FL7101 Fresco controller IC with TPD6S300
Sometimes we insert typeC cable ,the CC1 will keep low (fail)
Do you have any Idea about this issue ?
1. without TPD6S300 => Function OK
2. with C287/C288 68pF => Sometime can't detect
3. without C287/C88 => Can't work
Thank you for your question. The CC line target capacitance (according to the USB PD Specs) has to be between 200pF and 600pF. The TPD6s300 has a typical internal capacitance of 74pF. Could you try to increase the capacitance of C287/288 to around 220pF? Maybe this will do the trick :-)
