Part Number: TUSB2077A

Dear All,

I want to implement a USB Hub based on TUSB2077A IC to use it with my Raspberry Pi 3B .

After a little research though I discovered that Raspberry PI works best with multi-TT hubs

instead of single-TT hubs. I looked into the datasheet of the TUSB2077A but it does not

mention if it is single or multi TT. Could you tell me what TT class is it?

Also, if you have some better suggestion for a TI USB Hub IC please let me know

Regards

Lefteris

  • The TUSB2077A (like the TUSB2036 and TUSB2046B) is a full-speed hub, so there is no other speed that isochronous transactions could be translated to.

If you want a high-speed connection to the hub, you have to use the TUSB4020BI or TUSB4041I (both of which have multiple TTs).

Mr Ladisch, thank you for your response.

I will check them out for certain

    Have a great week
