Part Number: TPS65987D
Hi, everyone,
We want to know how TPS65987DDH becomes OFF / idle / active and so on.
So could you tell us
1) Power State Diagram
and
2) Power States Summary*When TPS65987DDH is OFF / idle / active, what becomes of FOSC_100k / FOSC_24M / USB type-C detection / I2C / UART / SPI / USBPD ? Please tell me these functions are available or not.
I'd appreciate if you share (1) Power state diagram & (2) power states summarylike Figure 5-1 and Table 5-1 of TPS65982 datasheet.
Hi Maurice,
The power states for TPS65987D are the same as the TPS65982. The only difference is that the TPS65987D will not lose the first I2C transaction when recovering from sleep mode, the TPS65982 will.
You can use the same power state diagram and power state summary from TPS65982 for TPS65987D.
If this answers your question, PLEASE select This resolved my issue
Thank you,Eric

Yes, it is okay to leave the device in that configuration:
- 0x20: 05
- 0x70: 05
The PD controller will automatically wake from sleep mode if there is any I2C communication or PD communication.
