Part Number: TCA9548A

Hi team,

Does TCA9548A have any issue under below operating voltage?

Thanks!

Best,

Jason

  • Hi Jason,

It is OK to operate the device in this way with VCC = 3.3 V and VDPU = 5 V on the downstream buses.

If you have any further questions please just let us know.

    Hi team,

    How about below condition?

    Thanks!

    Jason

  • In reply to Jason Wu4:

    Hi Jason,

It would be better to operate at a lower VCC level.  At VCC = 3.3 V, the "Vpass" voltage would be about 2 V (see Figure 14 in the datasheet).  This means that any voltages lower than 2 V would be passed through the device.  The master side's high level of 1.65 V is below this, and so the downstream channels would also have a high level of close to 1.65 V rather than the desired 5 V level.

    Regards,
    Max
