Hi,

I´m looking for a Gigabit Ethernet tranceiver with PHY and MAC that can interface a Camera port.

It seems that most GigaBit Ethernet controllers are focused on PCI cards. In my case I would be interested in a more flexible data bus interface which makes it possible to connect to a 16 bits ( data+synchros ) video paral.lel port or a Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link.

Thank you for your interest in TI products. Currently, TI does not have any discrete MAC devices in its portfolio. We do have many different types of gigabit serdes devices that may be appropriate. Please note that TI serdes solutions do not support 10/100/1000BaseT operation. A few serdes devices that may make sense for your application are as follows:

TLK1501: 16 bit Serdes supporting full duplex operation at data rates between 600mbps to 1.5Gbps. More data can be found at: http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/tlk1501.html

TLK2501: Similar to TLK1501 with support for data rates between 1.5Gbps and 2.5Gbps. More data can be found at: http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/tlk2501.html

TLK1521: 18bit Serdes supporting full duplex operation at data rates between 500mbps and 1.3Gbps. More data can be found at: http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/tlk1521.html
