DP83822I: Pin 25 RX_CLK pulled to low

Part Number: DP83822I

my customer uses our DP83822 in a former TLK105 design.

After power up the system, our device pulls the pin 25 RX_CLK to low, even if my customer adds a 1kOhm pull up resistor to the line.

This is completely different to the behavior from our TLK105.

After the power up, this line is used from the customer to configure our Sitara. Therefore his circuitry did not work, because our device drives this pin to ground.

Is there any recommendation, how to overcome this behavior?

Best regards

Olaf

  • Hi Olaf,

    Few things :

    1. Can you share the osclliscope capture of following pins:
    - 3.3v power supply
    - RESET pin
    - CLK Pin
    - RX_CLK pin

    2. Share the schematics ( send on my email directly)

Also, kindly go thru the Migration guide Application Note for TLK105. www.tij.co.jp/.../snla262.pdf
