Hello. I want to use PCA9306 as a transformer I2C from 1.8V lvl to 1.8V lvl. Is this correct if in DS for PCA9306 on figure 8 VDPU will be 1.8V for this transfomation? Or it is a non-standard situation and IC becomes unpredictable?

Hi Kirill,
Theoretically, setting Vref1, Vref2, and EN (as well as the pullup voltage Vdpu) to 1.8-V will allow communication through the device with 1.8-V present on each side. However, due to the pass-FET nature of the translator, either side of the bus will only be capacitively isolated if the device is disabled.
If you're trying to separate bus capacitance, a buffer would allow capacitive isolation on both sides while the device is operational. Is this what you're trying to do?
Regards,
Eric
